Privacy Policy

What this website collects, what it doesn't, and who can see it.

Two different things. This page covers the website. Your health information — anything connected to your care with us — is covered separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices, described at the bottom of this page. Substance use treatment records also carry additional federal protection under 42 CFR Part 2.

The short version

This site doesn't use advertising trackers, doesn't sell anything to anyone, and doesn't set tracking cookies of its own. Filling out a form here sends a message to our office. It does not create a medical record and it is not a substitute for contacting us directly.

What we collect when you use this site

Anonymous usage statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages people visit. It is designed to be cookieless and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other websites. We see aggregate counts — pages, referrers, country, device type — not individuals.

What you type into a form. Our contact, appointment request, and attorney referral forms send what you write to our office by email, through our email provider (Resend). That information is not stored in a database on this website. If you send us details about your situation, treat it as email: convenient, but not the right place for anything highly sensitive. For that, call us at (253) 279-7992.

The check-in page.If you scan our QR code and ask for a review reminder, your email address is used once, to send that one message. We don't keep it, we don't add you to a mailing list, and checking in there does not become part of your clinical record.

Server logs. Like every website, our host records basic request data (IP address, browser, time) for security and troubleshooting. We use it to rate-limit abuse of our forms.

Other services on this site

  • Google Maps. Our contact and location pages embed a Google map. Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address when that map loads, under Google's privacy policy rather than ours.
  • Client Portal. The portal link in our menu goes to a separate system operated by our practice management provider. Once you leave this site, that system's privacy terms apply.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your information.
  • We don't run advertising or retargeting pixels.
  • We don't use anything you submit here for marketing without asking you first.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information through it from children under 13.

Notice of Privacy Practices (health information)

Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how the practice may use and disclose your health information, and your rights over it. It's a separate document from this page and it governs your care. Substance use disorder records receive additional protection under 42 CFR Part 2, which is generally stricter than HIPAA.
