What is a court-ordered or DUI assessment?

A court-ordered assessment is a professional evaluation of substance use and/or mental health that a court, attorney, or probation officer requests — often after a DUI or as part of a legal case. We complete the assessment and provide the documentation the court needs.

How do I get a DUI or court-ordered assessment?

Call us at (253) 279-7992 or send a message and let us know what the court requires and any deadline. We'll schedule your assessment — in person or by telehealth — and make sure the report reaches the court, attorney, or probation officer.

How quickly can I be seen, and how fast is the report?

We know court deadlines matter. We offer same-week assessments when available and prioritize quick turnaround on reports and compliance documentation. Call us with your deadline and we'll do our best to meet it.

Do you offer telehealth or virtual services?

Yes. We provide virtual assessments, individual counseling, and group sessions over secure video, so we can serve clients across Washington — not just Pierce and King County.

What is Intensive Outpatient (IOP)?

Our Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Program offers structured group and individual treatment several times a week for people who need more support than standard weekly outpatient care, while still living at home.

What is ADIS (Alcohol and Drug Information School)?

ADIS is an educational class — often required for DUI or court cases — that covers the effects of alcohol and other drugs. We provide completion documentation for the court.

What is a collateral assessment?

A collateral assessment is a court assessment that gathers information from the people in a client's life — family, providers, and records — to give the court a fuller, more accurate picture. Collateral assessments are self-pay (cash); please call for current pricing.

Do you take insurance, or is it self-pay?

Payment depends on the service. Call us at (253) 279-7992 and we'll go over insurance and self-pay options for your situation. Collateral assessments are self-pay (cash only).

Do you work with courts, attorneys, and probation?

Yes. We regularly provide assessments, treatment verification letters, and monthly compliance reports directly to courts, attorneys, probation, and public defenders.

How do I get started?

New clients can call us at (253) 279-7992, email info@never2laterecovery.com, or send a message through our contact page. Current clients can log in through the Client Portal.

Is my information confidential?

Yes. Your information is protected under applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA and the stricter federal 42 CFR Part 2 protections that apply to substance use treatment records.
